  1. The post screams that it’s summer. I use a lot of peaches in my smoothie bowls and I am wondering how great it would be to find out where these beautiful fruits come from. I would love to visit such orchards.

  2. Jenske orchards at Fredericksburg, Texas is a fine place for picking peaches and other fruits like blackberries, strawberries and pumpkins round the year. Thanks for sharing the information about the different varieties of peaches based bon the way they cling to the pit. I would love to go fruit picking as it’s a great way to get closer to nature and also we learn so much about farm produce.

  4. Picking peaches at Jenschke Orchard in Fredericksburg looks like a fun activity. The picking fee is the same, no matter how much peaches you pick within 30 minutes? I would definitely also try the ice-cream.

  5. Peaches are one of my favorite fruits. That “pick-your-own-adventure” concept is interesting. It’s good to know that there are other fruits besides peaches, and thank you for sharing their harvest dates as well. It’s also a plus that it’s a pet-friendly location.

    1. Since we don’t have too many pick-your-own fruit here in Texas, this is something that we all look forward to do.

  7. What a lovely way to get your fruits. I have never visited an orchard but I would love to go and pick up the peaches I want directly from the trees. I can imagine it’s quite fun. It’s nice that they are open year round and you can pick other fruits as well, depending on the season. I’d love to see their pumpkin patches too.
