Happy to know that the place also has free WIFI. Thank you for sharing for your experience. Bookmarked this for future reference.

  2. Oakwood RV resorts sounds like a great place! I love that there are various site options depending on your needs and budget – and honestly, they all sound lovely. How convenient to have a showers, pool, trash valet, and communities campfires here, too. That would make the experience all the better for me, because I think it’s really the little things that make or break a vacation. I’ve always wanted to explore Fredericksburg and staying here at this RV resort would be a super place as a home base!

  3. Having not much knowledge of camping with RV’s it was a wonderful learning Some of us friends mostly from US are planning a trip like this next August and then moving to Alaska after that. RV Resort looks lovely and what I love is the abundance of trees around. The other thing appealing are the hiking tracks. The facilities like children’s play area and laundry are nice to have when on a road trip.

  4. Oakwood RV Resort in Fredericksburg, Texas, seems to be a perfect place to stay, especially as I love traveling in RV and love camping recommendations. It’s great to know that most sites are under the trees, as I prefer parking in the shadows. Also, it’s great that it offers amenities like a patio, picnic table, Adirondack chairs, and a fire pit. I’m glad the WiFi connection was great, as it’s essential for me while traveling. A vast swimming pool with lounge chairs is also for plus. I will add this resort to my next Texas road trip.

  5. That’s quite a clear guide on the RV park. We don’t have such sites in India and seeing your pictures makes this a novel experience. It’s so sensibly planned out. There is even a cable TV! Maybe one day, I shall get to do this fun camping. I have only stayed in luxury tents, which are run by tour operators.

  6. Oakwood RV resort park looks like a very spacious and relaxing camping area. And it’s nice that it has 8 variations of campsites coded in different colors. Also it has amenities like shaded area, barbecue fire pit, dog park, vallet trash, pool, spa meeting rooms for guests. And the reservation process looks quite easy. Moreover the staff is friendly and nothing like a free bag of ice for camping. I think tear drop trailers are so comfortable to park and we can spot your’s in the picture.

  7. I like the fact that Oakwood Campgrounds has plenty of amenities that can satisfy different needs. The trees around makes it sound like being in nature’s lap. Add to that the friendly staff. I am already in love with the place. What a good experience for you!

  9. I have to start by saying I love the look of this Oakwood RV park with lots of trees and green space. We keep passing RV parks that look like parking lots and can’t imagine staying in one. A pool and a spa would make the stay even better. And I love the idea of vallet trash pickup!

  10. Wow, this is very detailed. I don’t have a fire pit at home, but I think I would enjoy meeting new people around a community campfire while camping. This seems like a very well organized camp site.
