I told my husband I’m on a mission to stay at the affordable dog-friendly hotels in College Station. Lol.
So far, we have stayed in three different hotels that cost us less than $100 a night.
Without further ado, I have for you here the affordable pet-friendly hotels in College Station that will make you WOW!
Affordable Pet-Friendly Hotels in College Station, TX.

Hotel McCoy College Station
I don’t know if it was the white noise machine or the bed that made me sleep through the night, considering Hotel McCoy‘s location on Highway 6.
When my husband booked a room at Hotel McCoy during our son’s NSC, I was busy with something else, so I didn’t check the hotel website.
I wasn’t too sure about the hotel when we arrived. Colorful doors and murals are everywhere, and it looks like a motel. And my husband did say it was a motor inn from the 70s.
But we didn’t know that we were in for a surprise!
When I opened the door to our room, I was surprised to see it looked brand new. There was fun art on the wall, two king-size beds stacked with fluffy pillows, and a retro-style table & chair, fridge, and microwave. There’s a disco ball on the ceiling, and the largest TV I’ve ever seen in a hotel room mounted on the wall.
I walked to the bathroom. It has a walk-in shower that I prefer to a bathtub. The bathroom was clean, and the hotel provided all-natural hair & body products.
There’s a door on the other side of the room that opens up to the courtyard.
Immediately, I saw a pool, a pickleball court, and a gazebo. There’s a Texas-shaped art on the wall full of College Station landmarks, including Ms. Rev.

When we walked to the lobby for complimentary breakfast the next morning, we saw a set of giant chess pieces, giant mushrooms art, ping pong, shuffleboard, corn hole, and more art everywhere.
Complimentary breakfast is the world’s longest oatmeal bar with your favorite toppings. They also provide bagels, Pop-Tarts, fruit, and of course, coffee.
There’s a free-play arcade near the lobby, but it was under repair when we were there.
I walked around the courtyard and outside to enjoy the art.
On the second day of our son’s NSC, my husband and I went swimming after we dropped our son off. It is a heated saltwater pool. It felt so good.
There are charging stations for your EV.
When you check in, you will get tokens for a welcoming beer. We don’t drink, so we returned the tokens.
Hotel McCoy College Station surely made us WOW! We paid less than $100 a night, and our dog Snoopy stayed for free.

Address: 3702 Highway 6 South.
Distance to Kyle Field: 4.8 miles (about a 12-minute drive)
Note: They have special prices for game weekends.
Check out these two other Hotel McCoy for your future travels:
720 West Silverlake Road, Tucson, Arizona.
455 SE Paradise Street, Pullman, Washington.

Vineyard Court Designer Suites Hotel
My husband said he is overly impressed with our stay at Vineyard Court Designer Suites Hotel.
He wasn’t sure what to get with $53 a night (during our stay), and our dog stayed for free.
Moreover, it included free breakfast and Social Hour in the evening, with complimentary wine and hors d’oeuvres.
It’s too good to be true.
I heard about Vineyard Court from the Aggie Parents Facebook group. Some parents recommended the hotel for its affordable price, with clean rooms, free breakfast, and great location.
We were confused when we arrived. There is no driveway to the front of the hotel. You park at the side or the back and walk to the entrance at the front.
When you open the door, you walk into a beautiful foyer. The lobby is on the left. It’s a small lobby and shared room with the breakfast nook.
They have a jar of dog treats on the counter. If you visit College Station with a dog, grab some treats to make your dog happy.
Then we walked to our room. I was surprised to see the European-themed courtyard.
We stayed there two days before Thanksgiving Day, and it’s almost dark. I’m sure it looks prettier in the summer.
There’s a gated pool, a gazebo, and places to sit.
I noticed the rooms are named after organizations at Texas A&M. We stayed in the Band Suite, and our son is in the Wind Symphony Band. What a nice coincidence!

Our suite has two rooms: the living room and kitchenette on one side, and the bedroom and bathroom on the other side.
The kitchenette comes with pots and pans, dishware, silverware, glasses, and dish soap. There is a stove, a microwave, and a fridge.
There is a TV in each room. You can watch from the couch or from your bed. They also offer free WiFi.
Our room is a little outdated, but we enjoyed our stay there very much. They made us WOW during our stay.
Unfortunately, we didn’t go to Social Hour. We went out to take our son to dinner.
Vineyard Court has blackout dates during weekend games. Prices are much higher than on regular days or weekends.
Address: 1500 East George Bush Dr.
Distance to Kyle Field: 1.5 miles (about 5 minutes drive)

Red Roof Inn College Station
Okay. Red Roof Inn didn’t make us WOW like Hotel McCoy and Vineyard Court. But we were surprised to find the room and the bathroom clean.
I like that the room has a wooden floor, and you can park in front of your room. That’s a plus for me.
We stayed at the Red Roof Inn during a college visit in June. At that time, our dog stayed for free. Today, they charge a pet fee.
Unfortunately, the room didn’t come with breakfast. Thankfully, Shipley Do-Nuts, McDonald’s, and Dutch Bros Coffee are nearby, along with other restaurants.
We spent less than $100 a night for our stay. Like the other two hotels, they also have special prices during football game weekends from the end of August to the end of November.

Address: 2504 Texas Ave S, College Station.
Distance to Kyle Field: 2.6 miles (about an 8-minute drive)
