  1. Country Bumpkins Campground seems to be a perfect place for staying. I haven’t been to New Hampshire yet, but if I plan my next road trip, I will add this campground to my list. The price is affordable, and the spaces are pretty big to enjoy. It’s great to know that is a good WiFi connection as well.

    1. Yes, keep this campground in mind for your trip to the White Mountains area in New Hampshire.

  2. Your post reminds me of an Indian YouTuber who explored the US on Motorhome/RV. Would like to do this kind of travel someday. For that reason, I was really engrossed while reading your post.

  3. I usually prefer the online one but then if it a very delicate place, choose to also call and confirm! Haha. I do that when I’m traveling with my kid and I feel like I might get stranded if not for that accommodation. Haha.
Nice to know it is a family owned place, I like such places. It is a great idea to leave the dumpster open, so bears can go feast there!

  4. I am very curious to know why certain types of dogs are not allowed – is it because they bark a lot? The campground seems pretty well equipped with facilities. I guess, bears are a part of these surroundings and the only thing one can do is be careful. A well written review.

  5. I was kind of taken aback when I read it’s a bear prone campsite but I am sure if one follows all the rules and regulations it should not be a problem. I believe this place would be a must visit now that I have read this blog. Thank you for mentioning the pricing, amenities and everything important. Will definitely visit this place sometime, saving this blog for future reference!

  6. Great blog post! I have not camped on this part of USA but the incident about the bear having a party with the cooler is really scary! Good tips about the flush toilets and showers – it would be difficult during peak season when the campsite is full. It’s amazing that County Bumpkins provides good Wifi even though it is an open campsite. 🙂

  7. I admire the owner’s hands-on approach! It’s a good thing you included the reservation rates; it makes it much easier for individuals planning a camping trip to estimate how much money they’ll need. I’m confident that a stay will be enjoyable because of the amenities, particularly the firewood, which is ideal for a nighttime campfire. Fantastic!

  8. This looks like a very nice campground. And when looking for a campground, this is exactly the kind of reviews I would hope to find. I would be nervous about the bears too. Maybe not so much with a camper but if I was staying in a tent. We go up to the mountains quite often and you do have to very careful there. They can even smell food from your car if you leave something in there.

  9. Quite a helpful blog and thank you for sharing your experience of staying with them, though I was scared to read that it’s a bear-prone campsite. But, nevertheless, I am sure it has a fun of its own. Bookmarking for my next visit 🙂
