Welcome!

I’m Umiko, the voice behind Two Worlds Treasures, a family travel blogger based in Dallas/Ft. Worth, Texas.

When I was a toddler, my dad used to take me around in his car every day after work. Then I found out I enjoy seeing new things and meeting strangers during our annual vacation. I also learned that I could walk for a long time without getting tired during our trips. I think that’s when my love for travel started.

After I got married, moved to the U.S., and had a kid, my passion for traveling was unstoppable. We travel near during the weekends and far during long vacations.

I started Two Worlds Treasures to share our travel stories and a shortcut to family and friends who asked for information on places we’ve been. I also want to inspire others that travel does not have to be big and far, once in two to three years, but you can do it locally anytime.
