Olympus 132 – Homey & Comfortable Airbnb in Lone Tree, Colorado, USA.

Olympus 132 is a split level house. Down at the basement, there are 2 private rooms. One room has 2 twin beds and a bathroom, while the other one has 1 twin bed only. In the bigger room, there’s a closet and a dresser for you to hang clothes and other belongings. There’s also a working table if you must work a bit before going to bed. While in the smaller room, you can store your clothes in a dresser. The host designed both rooms with a minimalist style. It makes you feel like going to sleep instantly when you walk into the room.

Just recently they added 1 room upstairs with shared bathroom.

But keep in mind, this is a shared space. So, there’s a possibility you will meet other travelers during your stay here.

Once you get downstairs, you won’t miss the spacious common room that this family/kid-friendly place has to offer where you can watch TV, read, or just to wind down.

Every morning the host provides simple breakfast, such as cereal, milk, tea, and coffee. In addition, you can use the microwave to reheat your food and use the stove for cooking simple meals, such as fried egg and noodles. Of course, there’s always a room in the fridge for your food or drink.

I liked to open the back door while enjoying my breakfast, to let the morning breeze filled the room. Whenever possible, I went outside and sat on the deck to finish a cup of Patty’s delicious cappuccino. (If I haven’t told you, Patty makes the best cappuccino. If she’s around and you’re lucky enough, maybe she will make one for you.)

Between the common room and the bedroom is the laundry room. You are welcome to use the washing machine and the dryer, but you must bring your own supply.

Who doesn’t like taking a shower after a long day? Here at Olympus 132 you can use soap and shampoo provided by the host or bring your own to use in their spacious shower room. Towels and hand towels are also provided, as well as a hairdryer.

Furthermore, you can enjoy the easy access to highway I-25 S and CO-470 that will connect you to Colorado Springs, downtown Denver, Boulder, Grand Junction, and other cities in Colorado.

Olympus 132 Rooms Prices

  • $35/night for the single private room upstairs.

This is the house rules that made my son wondered the night we arrived there. “Daddy, why is it there’s a house rule in my bedroom?” he asked. We didn’t know my friend turned the bedrooms downstairs to Airbnb. Ha-ha.

  1. That’s why I love AirBnB – people put so much love and creativity in their homes to make others feel at home too!

I know and most of the time, their prices are cheaper than hotels. We’re leaning on AirBnB now. Last July we stayed at one place also in Illinois.

  2. Daniela says:

Looks really nice but a bit too pricey for my budget. I’ve mainly lived in AirBnB’s for three years now and prefer to rent a room staying either with the owner or other guests, much nicer. Sometimes, I would rent an AirBnB just for me when I need some time on my own. Unfortunately, prices have risen quite a bit recently.

Maybe there are others with cheaper prices in that area, but it sure is way cheaper than a hotel room.
