  3. Whoa! This is interesting! I’ve come across something like this in Belgium.
I’m just wondering won’t the players (actors) be tired after sometime though they get that 8 minutes break?
How long do they perform this, starting at 6:30?

  4. I love anything Christmas-related. This looks really wonderful and beautiful. I hope they also make living cards here in my local area.

Kudos to the Lakeside Baptist Church’s gift to the community. I am sure they made a lot of people happy. 🙂

    1. That’s what I like about this. It’s different. We don’t just watch the parade or Christmas lights. And yeah, I’m sure a lot of people are happy with this gift from the Lakeside Baptist Church.

  5. What a fascinating experience! The Granbury Living Christmas Cards sound like such an unsual twist on the usual nativity scenes, taking this further to include other common Christmas card scenarios. Good to know it’s only on every two years rather than annually.

  6. Coming from an Orthdox Christian country, I’m not really used to this kinds of celebration for Christmas but it seems really interesting. It would be lovely to watch the 8 cards stage play at the Town square. It seems like an interesting tradition and a cute variation on the Christmas play. Thank you for sharing it with us.

  7. It is great to celebrate Granbury Living Christmas Cards festivities and that too when the whole season is festive. It would be lovely to watch 8 cards stage play in the Town square. As these cards are hand painted then this festival is very unique to visit when I visit Texas in the second week of December.

  8. What a great way to experience small town Christmas in Granbury. We have live nativity scenes but I’ve never seen a living postcard. What a cute variation on the Christmas play.

  9. Hey, I didn’t expect you have the same celebrations for Christmas as we have in Poland. We also have spectacles with the holy family and showing the moment when Jesus was born. It’s a nice tradition to keep, I think so even more glad that you shared it.

    1. Really? I would like to experience that in the future. Yes, I agree that we need keep some of the traditions and share it with others whenever possible.
