  1. Fantastic to see you promote family friendly hikes. Great way to spend time with each other in nature. I especially liked the look of Hanging Lake, Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Pics look fab! Thank you!

    1. I think it’s good for family to spend more times outdoor. Not that I’m against themed parks, but family vacation doesn’t have to be every other year. You can always do it whenever you want to by going out to nature.

  2. I had no idea that existed in Colorado… I always thought of it as an arid dry state. This is good to know for the next time I’m in town and want to feel close to some water-related nature! 🙂

  4. Such a great list of 5 family friendly spring hikes from all around the U.S.! I havent hiked any of these but I would love to explore Sun Shining Falls at Silver Falls SP, Silverton, Oregon and the Hanging Lake, in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. I wonder if you can swim in any of these points to cool off afterwards?

  5. So many places to hike in the US. I can’t wait to travel to the US. I kind of hope I can go there before I get kids as well though. If not, it is not a big deal, so much to do with kids there. Truly a beautiful country and so diverse.

    1. Yeah, America is hug, so diverse, and beautiful. I don’t even know when can I visit the whole states because there are lots of interesting places in each state. Hope one day you will make it here, with or without kids.

  7. These look like great hikes and I haven’t done any of them except for Golden Gate! I’m usually not hiking with kids, but generally any hike that is family friendly is also friendly to someone like me who doesn’t go on strenuous hikes very often! I’ve marked a couple of these on my map, so hopefully I’ll be able to put your tips to good use soon!

  8. I have enjoyed this post a lot. I love hiking and reconnecting with nature – it is my favorite place to meditate and contemplate the beauties of this world. If I were in the US, I would go to Diana’s Bath in North Conway, New Hampshire. The place looks like magic and I think that the sound of the water is just great.

  9. I’ve hiked parts of the White Mountains in New Hampshire but never Diana’s Bath, which looks really beautiful. What a great collection of hikes, and all family-friendly!

  10. I’ve totally done that hike in San Francisco since it’s in my very own backyard. But I haven’t heard of the hike in Colorado, that place looks so amazing! I’d love to see that in real life someday.

  11. These all sound like great hikes. We live in BC so now I’m thinking I want to check out that Silver Falls hike in Oregon! Thanks for these ideas 🙂 Going to pin this for future reference!
